The client should be able to download install these on its own, however, you may have to manually install these dependencies. These are the open-source graphics, sound, and music components and must be downloaded, unless you plan on using the Transport Tycoon versions (not discussed here). The first time you run the Reddit OpenTTD Client, you may be asked to download OpenGFX, OpenSFX and OpenMSX.
